THRIVE 4CE: Helping People Thrive in Christ
By: David J. Swandt, Founder and President - Twenty20 Faith
What does it really mean to thrive in Christ?
As Christians, we’re called to more than simply attending church or checking spiritual boxes. Jesus calls us into a growing relationship with Him—a life shaped by His Word, strengthened through Christian community, and lived out with purpose and meaning in love and service.
The Apostle Paul captures this beautifully:
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6-7
It is our firm belief and commitment that a life thriving in Christ is constituted through a "partnership" of four active pillars of faith working cohesively together in every believer's life:
(1) Confidence in Their Commitment to Christ
Thriving begins with a personal decision to follow Jesus.
Each person should have the opportunity to understand the Gospel, consider its truth, and make a confident and informed decision to commit their life to Christ. Faith begins with knowing whom we have trusted.
(2) Grounded in the Foundations of Faith
A thriving Christian needs more than a beginning point—they need a foundation. We should understand the essential truths of the Christian faith and be equipped to apply those biblical foundations to everyday life.
God's Word isn't simply something we learn. It is something that shapes how we think, make decisions, relate to others, and live each day.
(3) Connected Through Community and Fellowship
Christianity was never intended to be lived alone. Thriving believers actively engage in community and fellowship with other believers, building relationships that provide encouragement, accountability, support, and opportunities to serve. For many, that community may also include a Christian mentor—someone who can walk alongside them, provide wisdom, and encourage their spiritual growth.
(4) Equipped to Live Out God's Purpose
God has a purpose and calling for each of us. Thriving in Christ means becoming equipped to discover, embrace, and lean into that purpose, using the gifts, abilities, experiences, and opportunities God has given us. Our faith is meant to move beyond what happens inside the church building and into the way we live, work, serve, love, and influence the world around us.
Helping people embrace these four pillars into their faith journey is the centerpiece of Twenty20 Faith's mission, and the complete essence of our future ministry initiative to new Christians, and those contemplating the Christian faith - THRIVE 4CE (pronounced "thrive - force").
THRIVE 4CE UPDATE - OCTOBER, 2026
In August, 2026, Twenty20 Faith entered into contract with a software design and development organization to build out our vision for THRIVE 4CE. This project centers around mobile technology and when launched, will become a powerful, yet easy to use tool for new believers to journey through our discipleship program with a trained Twenty20 Faith mentor along with Christian friends and family they have invited into their journey.
The teams are working through finalizing ministry user experience design for new believers, community members and the Twenty20 Faith mentors to ensure the most impactful and effective ministry possible. And our development teams are beginning the effort to build the mobile platforms which will support this ministry.
We are on target for late 2026 or early 2027 launch our pilot program in English, with Spanish to follow in the ensuing months. We do covet your prayers and THANK YOU TO ALL FOR YOUR FAITHFUL AND GENEROUS SUPPORT OF THRIVE 4CE!
